Lessons Learned Along the Way About Investing — Future Blog

Throughout life we take various paths along the way to achieve our goals. Rarely is our route straight or easy to navigate. The paths we take often change based on life eventssuch as starting a familyor business situations—like losing your job.

It helps to have a compass or navigation device.

When it comes to investing, the best tools include: staying informed, being disciplined, and learning from others’ mistakes and experiences.

The purpose of this blog is to share some of the lessons that I’ve learned about money and investing.  I have been in financial marketing for 20 years. My experience includes working with CEOs and senior level executives on business development and marketing strategies. I have also launched several women and investing initiatives. I hold a securities license, which means that I can buy and sell investment products to investors.

This blog is about navigating through the clutter of investing so that you can get on a more direct path concerning your investment strategy. Consider that today we have an overwhelming number of investment choices: over 10,000 mutual funds, various class shares, hedge funds, exchange traded funds, no-load and load companies, etc.

I hope that you enjoy reading my blog and take away some valuable lessons about the amazing world of investing.
